HomeMullions and Frames

At TDM, our mullion and frame cabinet door designs create elegant displays to complete the look of your updated cabinetry. These classic designs use mullion supports and glass frames to showcase your favorite pieces on the cabinet’s interior.

Our mullions and frame door profiles coordinate with our flat, raised and shaker panel cabinet doors. Whether you are looking for recessed panel cabinet doors, modern kitchen cabinet panels, or multi panel options, we offer 30 door profiles, 10 edge profiles, and 150 colors to fully customize your space.

Please note that while we offer a vast selection of complementary door styles, we do not provide the glass or mirror inserts for the mullions and frames.

    Product Overview

With one bright and beautiful glass panel, our 1-Lite mullion cabinet doors are the perfect addition to any kitchen, bathroom or built-in cabinetry.

Mullions are available on every door profile that we offer.

All our mullion doors, such as the 1-Lite, are available in minimum sizes that apply from the original door ordered, including the interior and exterior profile.

The process of making a mullion door is delicate work. Rebates are cut into frames, pressed with PVC and then cut. Customers should therefore be mindful that an additional one week is added for production.

The mullion, the inside portion of the door frame, will have exposed MDF on the back after production and we recommend this is painted prior to installing the glass for the protection of the cabinet door.

We suggest a glass thickness of 0.125” (3mm) to 0.1875” (5mm) for the best result for your 1-Lite cabinet door. For dimensions over 48″, glass thickness of 0.1875″ or greater is recommended. Please note that we do not provide glass inserts.

While the mullion portion of the back of the door is unfinished, the default back for the frame of the door is finished in the classic white melamine. This may be customized to match the exterior color selected for your door front.

    Material and Finish Options

Our 1-Lite cabinet doors are as customizable as the rest of our products, with a range of over 150+ vibrant colors and Thermofoil finishes to choose from for the surrounding frame. Even ultra-realistic wood grains.
